This is one of the best gifts for writers that I found, this children's book really struck a chord with me. I know if someone bought me a little book that I could read to my kids, I would love it. We have this love of anything Halloween, vampires, and zombies. So Becca the bat was love at first bite shall we say.
So my thinking was to grab this cute baby animal kids book and read it and be done. The next night my little one asked me again, so we read through it and laughed at all the pictures. This played out for 2 weeks, and today, finally, I got a break because they were on a sleepover. He called me to say goodnight and said, "Don't forget about the bat book tomorrow night".
