When you have to write and proof your work, it is so important that you have a work environment that is as peaceful and stress free as possible. That way you think that adding a television right on your desk could be such a huge distraction. I want to show you how I use my little TV to actually improve my writing.

When you wonder what to buy a writer, a new television might not seem like something high on your list. This color television is not only under a hundred bucks, it fits perfectly on the corner edge of my very busy desk area. The first thing I do every day when I sit at my desk is turn on the television and then insert a The Secret DVD into the player and loop it. I let that movie play in the background while I work all day, filling my subconscious with nothing but positive thoughts and inspiration. The soundtrack from the Secret is also very inspirational, keeping me motivated all day long.
